Raisin Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

9-inch pie shell, baked
1 1/4 c. seedless raisins
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
4 Tbsp. butter
4 egg yolks
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Prepare and bake a 9-inch pie shell.
Cover the raisins with cold water; bring to a boil and drain.
Add the sugar, milk, butter and egg yolks.
Mix well.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add the chopped nuts.
Put in prepared pie shell.
Make meringue.
