Chocolate Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 c. water, divided
    3 eggs, separated
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 baked 9-inch pastry shell
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine
    first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.
    Stir in 1/2 cup water, mixing well to make a paste.
    Add remaining 1
    1/2 cups water, egg yolks and butter; stir well.
    Cook over medium heat
    (about
    3
    minutes)
    until
    mixture thickens and boils, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
    Pour filling into baked pastry shell.
