Cranberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    8 oz. cut dates
    1 c. whole, raw cranberries
    1 c. nuts (any kind)
    rind of 2 oranges, grated
Preparation
    Blend the oil, sugar and eggs.
    Sift the flour with the salt, soda and baking powder.
    Add to the egg mixture with buttermilk; blend well.
    Add dates, cranberries, nuts and rind.
    Stir to blend.
    Bake 55 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0 in tube pan.
