Lemon Cheese Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 tsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. self-rising flour
    1 c. water
    2 egg yolks
    rind of 1 lemon
    juice of 2 lemons
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the sugar, cornstarch, self-rising flour and water.
    Cook until thick.
    Remove from heat and add egg yolks. Cook 2 minutes. Add rind of lemon and lemon juice.
    Cook 1 minute more and remove from heat.
    Add butter and spread.
    Enough filling for 3 layer cake.
