Rum Cashews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. rum
    2 c. whole unsalted cashews
    1/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Combine sugar and rum in medium size saucepan.
    Bring to boil; cook 3 minutes or 234\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
    Remove from heat. Immediately add cashews and stir to coat.
    Return to medium heat and stir constantly to re-melt sugar.
    When sugar is golden brown, remove from heat and stir in butter.
    Spread on well oiled cookie sheet to dry.
    Break apart with fork.
