Oyster And Artichoke Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. oysters (retain liquid)
    2 cans artichokes (retain liquid)
    1 can chicken broth
    1 onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 qt. water
    seasoning to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions, celery and garlic in butter.
    Add flour to sauteed vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
    Add water and seasonings.
    Add chicken broth, artichokes and liquid; heat for 10 minutes.
    Add oysters and liquid and heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve when oysters are plump.
