Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 c. cold water
1 small pkg. strawberry jello
1 pinch salt
fresh strawberries
1 baked pie shell

Preparation

Place berries in baked and cooled pie crust.
Combine cornstarch, sugar, salt, syrup and water in pan.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; stir in jello and a few drops of red food coloring (optional).
Pour into pie shell and chill.
