Layered Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cauliflower
    1 medium head lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
    1 large purple onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Wash cauliflower and cut flowerets into bite size pieces. Layer lettuce, onion, cauliflower and bacon in 3-quart bowl. Combine mayonnaise and sugar and mix well.
    Spread evenly over top, sealing to edge of bowl.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Cover salad tightly and refrigerate 24 hours.
    Toss gently before serving.
