Creamy Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 bacon slices, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
2 1/2 c. cold water
2 c. milk
1 (5.75) pkg. au gratin potatoes
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
dash of pepper
Preparation

Cook bacon and onions in 3-quart saucepan; drain.
Remove from pan.
In same pan, bring water to boil.
Add potatoes.
Simmer, uncovered, over medium heat 18 minutes.
Stir in sauce mix, milk, parsley, pepper, bacon and onions.
Simmer over medium heat, 4 to 5 minutes or until desired consistency.
Makes 4 (1 cup) servings.
