Paper Wrapped Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chicken meat, very thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. dry sherry (or dry white wine)
1/2 tsp. brown sugar or honey
1/2 tsp. salt
1 scallion, very thinly sliced
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger root
2 c. vegetable oil for frying
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except the oil and marinate 20 to
30 minutes.
Divide the mixture into 16 portions and wrap each portion
in
aluminum foil and fasten well.
Heat oil in wok to 375\u00b0 and deep fry the packages a few at a time for 2 to 3 minutes.
Drain
on
paper\ttoweling
and keep hot.
Do not reheat.
Serve
wrapped to hold in the tasty juice.
The diner unwraps each just before eating.
