Tortilla Beef Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef
    1 can chopped green chiles
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 1/2 c. crushed tortilla chips, divided
    1 (16 oz.) jar salsa
    1 1/2 - 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
    onions, optional
Preparation
    Cook ground beef and chiles. Drain.
    Stir in soup.
    In a shallow, 2 1/2 quart greased baking dish, sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of tortilla chips.
    Top chips with beef mixture.
    Add salsa and cheese.
    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
    Sprinkle the remaining chips over the top of the casserole.
    Bake for 5 minutes longer or until chips are brown. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
