Mint Puffs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1 egg white
    green coloring
    wintergreen flavoring
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and water.
    Cook to form a semi-firm ball.
    Pour egg white, heating constantly until mixture holds firm.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Add 2 to 3 drops of coloring and 1 drop of flavoring.
    Beat until smooth and blended.
    Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper, swirling top of each puff.
    Makes 2 dozen.
