Orange Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mandarin oranges
    4 cloves
    1 cinnamon stick
    dash of salt
    1 pkg. orange jello
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    water
Preparation
    Drain can of mandarin oranges.
    Add water to liquid to make 1 cup.
    Simmer this with cloves, cinnamon and dash of salt for 10 minutes.
    Then bring to a boil, turn off heat.
    Cover and let sit for 10 minutes.
    Dissolve jello in liquid after removing cloves and cinnamon.
    Add 1/2 cup cold water and lemon juice.
    Add oranges as jello congeals and chill.
