Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    sliced cucumbers, leave skins on (enough to fill gallon jar)
    3 cloves garlic, halved
    2 or 3 sliced onions
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. coarse salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Put cucumbers, garlic and sliced onions into a gallon size jar until jar is full.
    Bring to a boil remaining ingredients.
    Pour over pickles.
    Shake every day for 7 days.
    Good for 6 months. Refrigerate!
