Easy Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
    3 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    3 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. jam
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Place all but last 2 ingredients in a large mixing bowl and beat thoroughly.
    Fold in jam and nuts.
    Place in a greased and floured tube cake pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 300\u00b0.
    Cool to warm and frost with Caramel Frosting.
