Pecan Pie(One 9-Inch Pie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter, softened
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 1/4 c. pecans (halved)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl.
    Beat in eggs, syrup and vanilla until well mixed.
    Stir in pecans.
    Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0.
    Bake an additional 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
