Cherry Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
6 Tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. melted butter or margarine
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
2 (1 lb.) cans cherry pie filling
Preparation

Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
Pack at least 3/4 of the mixture firmly in the bottom of the pan.
Cream together cream cheese and Cool Whip until smooth.
(Add a few drops of mix if hard to blend.)
Spread on crust.
Top with pie filling and sprinkle remaining graham cracker crumbs over all.
Chill several hours.
