Larry'S Louisiana Dirty Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken livers
    salt, black and red pepper
    1 lb. hot pork pan sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 stalks celery, finely chopped
    2 medium onions, finely chopped
    1 small bell pepper, finely chopped
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 bunch green onions, chopped (tops only)
Preparation
    Boil chicken livers in large saucepan in 2 quarts water. Season with approximately 1 1/2 tablespoons salt and 1/2 teaspoon each black and red pepper.
    Cook covered for 45 minutes over medium fire.
    Add more water as needed.
    Remove livers from broth and set both aside.
