Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped onion

Preparation

Mix egg and milk.
Add sifted meal, flour, soda, baking powder and salt; mix together and add onion. Shape by dropping from tablespoon into hot oil after cooking your fish.
Makes about 2 dozen.
