Sausage Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sausage
    1 bunch celery
    2 onions
    1 green pepper
    3 c. rice (uncooked)
    9 c. water, boiling
    3 pkg. chicken noodle soup mix
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 oz. blanched, slivered almonds (optional)
Preparation
    Cook, but do not brown, sausage, celery, onions and pepper. Combine in a large kettle, water, soup mix, Worcestershire and rice.
    Cook until rice is done (about 25 minutes), then add sausage mixture.
    Put in casserole dish and bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 1 1/2 hours.
    Top with almonds if you like.
    Serves 20.
