Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. canned milk
    2 c. sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
    Melt butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
    Stir in brown sugar and salt.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Boil hard for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in milk. Return saucepan to heat.
    Bring to a full boil.
    Remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm.
    Stir in sugar, beating until smooth.
    Pour over pound cake.
