Texas Caviar - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (14 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained
1 (15 1/2 oz.) hominy, drained
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
4 green onions, chopped
1 medium size green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
1 c. chopped celery
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped (optional)
1 (8 oz.) bottle commercial Italian salad dressing

Mix all ingredients together; let stand overnight for flavors to blend.
