Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 apples
    2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Melt butter; add brown sugar.
    Spread evenly in pan.
    Place peeled, cored and halved apples on top.
    Cover tightly, simmer slowly until tender.
    Serve with juice poured over and whipped cream on top.
