Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash browns
    3/4 stick butter
    1 chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 tsp. garlic
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. corn flakes plus 1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except corn flakes and butter; place in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt 1/2 stick butter and mix with corn flakes.
    Sprinkle on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 12.
