Zucchini "Apple" Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. zucchini, sliced
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    dash of nutmeg
    3 Tbsp. flour
    crust for 9-inch pie
Preparation
    Use large (tender) zucchini.
    Peel and cut in quarters lengthwise.
    Remove seeds and slice crosswise.
    These will resemble apple slices.
    Cook until just tender-crisp.
    Drain. Toss with dash of salt and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
    Have mixed in a bowl the sugar, cinnamon, cream of tartar, dash of nutmeg and flour. Add zucchini.
    Place in 9-inch rich crust.
    Dot with butter.
    Add top crust. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
