Christmas Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    flowerets of 1 bunch broccoli (2 c.)
    flowerets of 1 head cauliflower (2 c.)
    1 red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
    1 medium red onion, chopped (1 c.)
    1 (8 oz.) bottle Italian salad dressing (nonfat)
    freshly ground pepper to taste
Preparation
    Steam broccoli in saucepan for 2 minutes or until tender-crisp.
    Rinse immediately in ice water.
    Combine with cauliflower, red pepper and onion in bowl with airtight lid.
    Add salad dressing and pepper; mix well.
    Chill, covered, for 24 hours or longer, stirring occasionally.
    Yields 8 servings.
