Mrs. Trant'S Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 pieces yellow squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 stick butter, melted
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Boil squash until tender; drain and mash.
    Layer squash and onion.
    Mix eggs and butter.
    Pour over squash.
    Top with cream of mushroom soup.
    Sprinkle cheese over soup.
