Ingredients

4 Tbsp. margarine
6 c. onions, sliced thin
4 packets George Washington rich brown broth
1 tsp. salt
4 c. boiling water
Preparation

Melt margarine in a saucepan.
Add onions and cook over medium heat until tender, but not brown (about 10 minutes).
Add salt, broth and water.
Stir well.
Simmer for about 20 minutes.
Serves 6.
