Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo or butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 large or 3 small ripe bananas, mashed
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Beat oleo, sugar and eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer for 3 minutes or until fluffy and light.
    Stir in bananas.
    Sift flour, soda and salt together and add gradually to oleo mixture; stir until well mixed.
    Add sour cream; stir until smooth.
    Add nuts last.
    Pour batter into a well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 1/4 hours, or until it tests done with toothpick.
    Cool 10 minutes in pan on wire rack.
    Remove from pan and cool.
    Makes a very moist loaf.
