Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Stir oats in boiling water; let stand 20 minutes.
    Cream shortening, brown sugar and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add dry ingredients and oatmeal mixture.
    Mix well.
    Bake in oblong pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
