Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 (No. 2 or 303) can fruit cocktail
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
-
Cream sugar, shortening and egg.
Add fruit cocktail.
Sift flour, salt and soda; add to mixture.
Top with brown sugar and chopped walnuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
Bake in greased square baking pan.
