Raquet'S Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. milk
    butter
    1 1/4 c. nuts (pecans best)
Preparation
    Melt 1 cup sugar in an iron skillet over medium heat.
    At the same time, cook the sugar and milk.
    Test \"white\" candy in cup of water.
    When it makes a firm ball, pour melted sugar, a little at a time, stirring constantly.
    Add some butter and 1 1/2 cups nuts. Drop on waxed paper.
    When melted sugar is poured onto white candy do so slowly because it will bubble up.
    Stir fast to keep from sticking or boiling over.
