Apricot Filled Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 c. apricot preserves
Preparation
    Set oven at 375\u00b0.
    Stir together flour, oats, brown sugar and soda.
    Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly.
    Press 2/3 of crumbs in the bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Spread with preserves.
    Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool and cut into bars.
    Makes 30 bars.
