Rum Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. rum extract
Preparation
    Use conventional method of mixing butter cakes.
    Bake in tube pan 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    While cake is cooling in pan pour the following hot glaze over it when cool.
    Remove from pan and pour remaining mixture over it.
