Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. butter
    6 apples, peeled or unpeeled
    chopped nuts
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Put first 5 ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sauce is thick. Let cool. Chop apples and pour sauce over them. Mix well. Top with chopped nuts and maraschino cherries. Store in the refrigerator.
