Unleavened Bread For Communion - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/4 oz. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. egg white
    2 c. plus 1 oz. cake flour
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add alternately eggs and flour. Add salt and vanilla.
    If mixture seems too thick to spread, mix a small amount of milk into dough.
    Spread into greased cookie sheet. Perforate into squares and put fork hole in center of each.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until firm.
    Does not take long.
