Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and shortening over warm water.
    Cool slightly. Mix together eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt.
    Blend in chocolate mixture.
    Mix in flour.
    Fold in walnuts.
    Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
    Cut into bars.
