Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising soft wheat flour
    1/8 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.
    Cut in shortening with a pastry blender until shortening is the size of peas.
    Add buttermilk, stirring with fork, until dry ingredients are moistened.
    (Dough will resemble cottage cheese and be sticky.)
