Old-Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
5 eggs
4 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Using electric mixer, cream butter and sugar.
Add 1 cup flour, then 1 egg.
Continue to alternate a cup of flour with an egg until all flour and all eggs are used.
Add baking powder, flavoring and milk.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake in preheated 300\u00b0 oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until cake tests done.
