Picadillo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. cumin (optional)
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1 or 2 jalapeno peppers, diced (optional)
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Brown ground beef and onion in skillet.
Add tomatoes, vinegar, cinnamon, chili powder, salt, raisins and optional ingredients. Simmer with cover for 45 to 60 minutes.
Stir in slivered almonds. Serve with tortilla chips or wrap in flour tortillas.
Can also serve with shredded cheese and lettuce.
