Chafing Dish Meatballs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/3 c. minced onion
1/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg
1 (12 oz.) chili sauce
1/4 c. shortening
Preparation

Mix together all ingredients except the chili sauce, grape jelly and shortening. Shape into 1-inch balls. Melt shortening and brown the meatballs. Remove from skillet. Drain fat. Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet until jelly melts, stirring constantly. Add meatballs. Stir until cooked. Simmer 30 minutes. Serve hot in chafing dish with toothpicks for spears.
