Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add water and vanilla.
    Mix well. Add flour and pecans.
    Chill 3 or 4 hours.
    Shape into balls or fingers.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet in slow oven (325\u00b0) about 20 minutes.
    Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
