Pork Chop Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 can beef consomme or bouillon
    1 can water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown pork chops in a small amount of fat in skillet.
    Remove chops and pour off most excess fat.
    Place onion in skillet and saute until clear; then add washed, raw rice, beef consomme or bouillon and water.
    Place pork chops on top of rice mixture, cover and simmer about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    Can be baked in 350\u00b0 oven 1 hour.
    Add more water if needed.
    Salt and pepper to taste. Serves 4.
