Picnic Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. shredded cabbage
    2 c. shredded carrots
    8 bacon strips, crumbled
    12 green onions with tops, sliced
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    1/3 c. vegetable oil
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, bacon and onions.
    In a jar with tight fitting lid, mix vinegar, oil, sugar and salt; shake well.
    Just before serving, pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss.
    Makes 12 to 16 servings.
