Pecan Coconut Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 c. sifted flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream butter with 1/2 cup brown sugar.
    Add 1 cup sifted flour gradually and mix until smooth.
    Press and flatten to cover the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Beat eggs until light and fluffy.
    Add 1 cup brown sugar, vanilla, baking powder, 2 tablespoons flour and salt.
    Stir in pecans and coconut.
    Spread over baked pastry and return to oven.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes longer or until topping is golden brown.
    Cool.
