Texas Hash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large onions, sliced
2 small green peppers, chopped fine
3 Tbsp. fat
1 lb. ground meat
2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can tomato sauce
Preparation

Cook onions and peppers slowly in hot fat until onions are soft.
Add ground meat.
Cook until brown or it loses its red color.
Add tomatoes, rice, tomato sauce and seasonings.
Mix. Put in large greased casserole.
Cover and bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until done.
