Scrapels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 doz. eggs
1 pinch or 1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. water
2 c. flour
Romano cheese, grated
pepper
Preparation

Beat eggs in mixer until light yellow.
Add salt; mix.
Add water; continue mixing.
Add flour slowly, mixing out all lumps. Let batter sit so all foam goes away.
Grease 12-inch frying pan with Crisco and wax paper.
Over medium heat, add about 1/8 cup batter.
Cook until edges loosen from sides of pan.
Turn over and cook other side.
Don't let the crepe brown.
After all have cooled, mix cheese and a little pepper and sprinkle on crepe. Roll tight.
Can be frozen until ready to use.
Makes about 35. Thaw when ready to use.
Lay in soup bowl and pour hot chicken soup over scrapels.
