Felafel - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (15 oz.) cans chickpeas
4 medium cloves minced garlic
2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. finely minced onion or 6 scallions
1/2 c. minced parsley
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/3 c. flour
a few dashes cayenne
oil for frying
Preparation

Rinse chickpeas and drain.
Combine all ingredients besides flour in a food processor or bowl.
Mash to a uniform batter.
Add flour, stir thoroughly.
