Linguine With White Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3 large cloves garlic
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 cans clams, drained (reserve liquid)
    black and red pepper and oregano to taste
Preparation
    Heat oil and 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan over low heat. Add garlic, parsley, pepper and oregano.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    In another pan, melt remaining butter over low heat.
    Add flour and, stirring constantly, cook about 2 minutes.
    Slowly add clam juice while stirring.
    Combine the contents of both saucepans and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add clams and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Serve over linguine.
