Dutch Fried Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites
2 Tbsp. water
8 slices (1/3-inch) Edam or Gouda
fine dry bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
butter or margarine
Preparation

Beat egg whites slightly with water.
Dip cheese slices into egg whites, then into crumbs.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Saute in skillet in butter or margarine until golden brown on both sides. Serves 8.
